Please note that the key entry year at the Sathya Sai School is Junior Kindergarten. As per the Ministry of Education’s recommendation, the Sathya Sai School caps class size at 20 students per grade. This facilitates effective teacher-student interaction and has been a contributing factor to the excellence that the school has come to be known for.

However, applications are also accepted for admission to Senior Kindergarten and Grades 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 & 6 against possible vacancies in those Grades. Information on number of vacancies in each grade will be given at the Open House.

What Are The Admission Requirements?

• Any student, regardless of socio-economic status, ethnic origin, or religious affiliation, may apply to attend the Sathya Sai School.
• Applications are open to siblings of students already enrolled subject to the same criteria as other applicants.
• Applications must be made using the prescribed Application for Admission (also available at our Open House).
• All applicants and parents will be interviewed.
• Admission decisions will be made by the Admissions Committee.
• Admissions will be based on the aptitudes and readiness level of students as well as the goals of the Sri Sathya Sai Education Trust of Canada, namely: to have a fair proportion of boys and girls; to serve a diverse population; and to benefit as many families as possible.
• Applicant must be either a Canadian Citizen or a Permanent Resident.

What Standards Are Expected Of Students?

Students of the Sathya Sai School are expected to strive to:

• Achieve academic excellence;
• Apply the five Human Values in daily life;
• Develop good study and work habits such as concentration, time management and commitment;
• Display friendliness and cooperation by forming positive relationships with peers and adults;
• Show respect for other people’s feelings, values and beliefs;
• Show initiative and willingness to accept responsibility; and
• Render selfless service to the community.
